The holiday season is a time of a year when families try to spend maximum time with each other. It is indeed a time to give thanks and enjoy each others’ company even more. The holiday season is, also, a time when children everywhere anticipate Santa’s magical arrival into their homes to deliver candies and gifts for them.
I believed in Santa Claus until Grade 2. Every year, he came to my house and delivered gifts for me. I never got the chance to see him but I did enjoy the gifts which I believed he had delivered overnight. For years, I was regaled with stories of Santa coming inside the house and placing candies and gifts under my pillow until one night when I saw my parents slipping gifts in to my room.
Interestingly, many parents play the role of Santa Claus and make their kids wishes come true. I strongly believe that stories are not just bedtime entertainment but, also, have the power to develop young children’s imagination and creativity. So, if you are looking for some new stories this holiday season, then the Roundhouse has just the event for you and your family. Additionally if you are also wondering how to reveal the Santa truth to kids, then you might like to read this beautiful letter.
For now, why not make your little one’s fantasies come true while you have a great time together. Yes, Santa is coming to the Roundhouse on Dec 8 from 10am-12pm. Join him and his helpers for a pancake breakfast and take part in many fun-filled activities such as face-painting, arts and crafts, and much more. Breakfast will be followed by a photo session (12-5pm), and horse carriage rides (12-6pm) outside the Roundhouse.
What does the holiday season mean to you? What memories do you recall from your childhood? We would love to hear your stories.
