ARTS & CRAFTS (ages 6+)

Get creative and crafty and make something cool under the Arts & Crafts tent this summer! Caregiver participation required.


FLOW YOGA (ages 19+)
We | Jul 4, 11 | 11am – 12pm

A fun flowing practice that will help you develop a quality of ease in your movements, strength in your body, an enhanced vitality and a calmer state of mind. All levels welcome. Mats provided.


GROOVAZON (ages 19+)
Sa | Jul 7 | 11:45am – 12:45pm

This high-energy class is an original blend of pure funk dance, discodelic rhythms, hip hop vibes, and jazzy grooves.


BASTILLE DAY (all ages)
Sa | Jul 14 | 10am – 10pm

Get ”a taste of France” and enjoy a French Market curated by local French businesses with typical delicatessen, wine, baguette and cheese as if you were in Paris. Chill out in the Beer Garden with friends and family. Produced by ‘Bastille Day Festival Society.’


THE BIRTH PLACE (ages 19+)

A free workshop on 5 steps to successful breastfeeding by a mother of 4, childbirth educator, doula, author, speaker and breastfeeding counsellor.


TAI CHI (ages 19+)
Sa | Jul 28 | 9:30am – 1pm

Everyone is welcome to this friendly morning movement group of gentle exercise and dance. Volunteer instructors teach in Cantonese and English.


THE NEWRHYTHMICS (all ages)
Mo | Jul 30 | 12 – 1pm

A free lunchtime concert featuring easy listening tunes by a local, Vancouver acoustic band.


STREET VENDORS COLLECTIVE (all ages)

The Street Vendors Collective is a peer-managed, independent collective of vendors and peers from the Downtown Eastside community. This project offers legal vending opportunities using carts and tables to low-income artists, craftspeople, and people with experience in the informal economy. A pilot project by the City of Vancouver.


VANCOUVER OUTSIDER ARTS FESTIVAL (all ages)

Individual artists and organizational partners, workshops for artists and the public, artworks on display and for sale, alongside live art and other performance forms.


DANCING IN THE STREET
SU | Aug 12, 26 | 1 – 4pm

Enjoy free live music and swing dance lessons presented by Vancouver Swing Society. All levels welcome.


ELECTRAFEST (all ages)
Sa | Aug 18 | 10am – 4pm

Vancouver’s only electric mobility and related sustainable tech showcase. Bringing together dealerships, manufacturers, vendors and installers to exhibit their products and services.
